Research Interests, Expertise

Origin and control of toxic combustion by-products, sources/health impacts of environmentally persistent free radicals, formation and properties of combustion-generated nanoparticles, surface and gas-phase mechanisms/kinetics of formation of dioxins and other air pollutants, and thermal treatment of hazardous wastes.
