Chuang awarded Postdoctoral Travel Award by the Cardiovascular Toxicology Specialty Section at SOT meeting.
Dr. Gin Chuang, an LSU Superfund Research Center postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Kurt Varner at the LSU Health Sciences Center, was awarded the Postdoctoral Travel Award by the Cardiovascular Toxicology Specialty Section at the Society of Toxicology Meeting last week. The title of Gin’s presentation was “Mitochondria and intrinsic apoptotic pathway mediate cardiac toxicity of environmentally persistent free radicals”.
